Registered Dental Assistant II (DA II)

Full-Time / Part-TimeJob DescriptionOur private dental practice is seeking a highly skilled, patient-oriented, and state-registered Dental Assistant II (DA II) to join our dedicated clinical team. In this role, you will utilize your advanced training to perform reversible intraoral expanded functions under the direct supervision of our dentists, helping us deliver efficient, top-tier restorative and preventive dental care.Responsibilities and Scope of PracticeAs a registered DA II in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Virginia Board of Dentistry DA II Registration: Must possess an active and valid registration as a Dental Assistant II in Virginia.
National Certification: Active Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential from the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB).
Radiography Certificate: Compliance with Virginia radiation safety requirements to operate dental X-ray equipment.
CPR Certification: Current hands-on Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification.
Experience: Experience practicing expanded functions in a fast-paced clinical setting is highly preferred.
Technology: Familiarity with digital practice management systems (e.g., Dentrix) and digital scanning equipment is a plus.
Benefits available for full time
