Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where your expertise will directly contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and creating confident smiles. Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to uphold strict infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology when applicable.
Manage patient records accurately using dental practice management software such as Dentrix and Epic systems.
Provide excellent customer service as a dental receptionist, including scheduling appointments, confirming patient information, and answering inquiries.
Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions with clarity and compassion.
Support pediatric patients by creating a friendly, welcoming environment that helps ease anxiety and promotes cooperation.
Assist with orthodontic procedures and develop additional skills through the available ortho module.
Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency with dental software platforms, including Dentrix and Epic, for scheduling, record keeping, and billing.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and orthodontic procedures.
Experience in dental assisting, particularly with orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry, is an asset.
Ability to operate CAD systems for designing or planning dental appliances or restorations.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and healthcare providers.
Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and the unique needs of pediatric patients.
Knowledge of infection control standards, sterilization techniques, and safety protocols in a clinical setting.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Willingness to learn and grow, with the opportunity to develop additional orthodontic skills through our ortho module.
