Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Prepare treatment rooms for procedures, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Perform dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Assist with medical documentation and coding
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations
Skills:
- Proficient in taking vital signs and patient assessment
- Knowledge of dental receptionist duties, including appointment scheduling and patient record management
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques, including x-rays
- Understanding of medical coding practices
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
- Ability to operate CAD software for dental restorations is a plus
