Job Description
We're Hiring!
We are looking for experienced Registered Dental Assistants and Dental Assistants to join our devoted team. We are a family oriented dental practice that strives to provide excellent care for our patients.
What we offer:
*Enjoy a 3-day work week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 7:30 – 4:30
*401K with company match after 1 year
*Paid holidays, sick pay, vacation pay
*Team Run Practice with 1 Dr/1Hygenist
Responsibilities include:
Assist dentist during examination and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
Take digital x-ray images, adhering to safety standards for both patients and staff.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for patient visits, treatments and follow-ups.
Provide patients with pre-treatment and post-procedure instructions as directed by the dentist.
Support front office as needed, including scheduling appointments and pulling patient charts for the next day.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Required skills include:
Previous experience as a Chairside Dental Assistant – minimum of 2-year experience required.
Experience in coronal polishing with certificate.
Experience in making temporary crowns/bridges.
Experience in using general office equipment—computer, printer, scanner.
Punctuality and reliability are a must.
Proficient in using dental imaging systems and understanding of dental practice clinical operations.
Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Comfortable working in a busy environment.
Be a quick learner.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
