Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic dental team.
In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care while supporting the clinical team.
Your expertise in dental procedures, infection control, and patient communication will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for.

Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry and implantology.
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining aseptic techniques to ensure infection control standards are met.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), and CBCT scans ensuring accuracy and patient safety while adhering to HIPAA regulations for medical documentation and records.
Operate digital imaging systems such as iTERO SCANNER, CEREC or MEDIT.
Manage patient dental cases and follow up with patients as necessary.
Manage supplies and inventory to ensure smooth operations within the office.
Support administrative tasks such as dental receptionist duties, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and updating medical records.
Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by following infection control protocols and ensuring all equipment is sterilized according to OSHA standards.
Assist with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency during procedures and enhance patient comfort.
Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care instructions, and answer questions related to dental terminology or procedures.
Requirements
Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with current licensure in the state of practice.
Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures.
Proficiency in dental software systems such as OpenDental.
Familiarity with EMR systems, HIPAA compliance standards, and electronic medical coding practices.
Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.
Ability to operate X-ray machines safely while adhering to radiation safety guidelines.
Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with patients of all ages and collaborating seamlessly with the clinical team.
Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
