Dental AssistantPosition Summary
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, works well in a team environment, and is committed to helping provide an exceptional patient experience. This position will assist the dentist during procedures, maintain treatment rooms, and support clinical operations to ensure efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
Set up and break down operatories between patients
Update and maintain accurate patient records
Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene and post-operative instructions
Assist with impressions, temporary crowns, and other clinical procedures as permitted by state regulations
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering clinical supplies
Ensure a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment
Support team members and help wherever needed to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
Dental Assistant certification preferred
Current X-ray certification required (or ability to obtain)
Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Experience with dental software is a plus
