Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Duties:
Responsible for providing routine assistance. This includes but is not limited:
Proficiency in chairside assisting and general dentistry
Assisting the dentist during treatment procedures
Ensuring patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
Reviewing and updating our patient’s medical history, obtaining signatures to necessary consent forms, and recording patient’s blood pressure prior to treatment.

Taking dental radiographs
Preparing and sterilizing instruments, materials and equipment
Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Taking impressions of patients' teeth
Maintaining inventory supplies and completing purchase order forms
Sustaining inventory within operatories
Assist with completing treatment plans
Document records of dental treatments performed
