Job Description
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Lucas Orthodontic Group
Multiple Middle Tennessee Locations
Pay: $18–$25 per hour, based on experience
Lucas Orthodontic Group is seeking a dependable, energetic, and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing orthodontic team.
Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to build a career in orthodontics.
Responsibilities
Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments
Prepare treatment areas, instruments, and materials
Take patient records, photographs, impressions, and digital scans as trained
Provide patients with instructions regarding appliances, oral hygiene, and treatment
Maintain accurate patient documentation
Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control requirements
Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming clinical environment
Work collaboratively with doctors and team members to provide excellent patient care
Qualifications
Current Tennessee Registered Dental Assistant certification
Radiology certification or eligibility to obtain required certification
Experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Dependable, organized, and willing to learn
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Compensation
$18–$25 per hour
Rate of pay is based on experience, training, and qualifications
