Key Responsibilities
Chairside Assisting: Support the dentist during a wide variety of clinical procedures using efficient four-handed dentistry.
Sterilization Protocols: Prepare, clean, and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms according to strict OSHA and CDC guidelines.
Digital Charting: Maintain highly accurate, detailed patient records and treatment notes using Open Dental software.
Patient Education: Provide clear, empathetic post-operative care instructions and oral hygiene education to patients.
Patient Comfort: Welcome patients warmly and ensure an anxiety-free, comfortable environment throughout their visit.
Required Qualifications
Licensure: Valid and active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting.
Software Tech: Direct proficiency and hands-on experience with Open Dental software.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual Skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly valued and a major plus!
