Job Description
Well established, multi-doctor general dentistry practice is looking for a positive, quality-driven dental assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is a coachable, easy-going, multi-tasker, who can create lasting bonds with their patients; help advise them on their overall oral health; and educate them on how taking care of their mouth helps take care of their whole body.
Must have at least 2 years chairside experience!
We have a newer, spacious office with modern equipment and provide in-house services like CEREC to help provide variety in your day and keep you busy!
Hours / Schedule:
Full-time 35+ hrs/week. Mon - Thurs, with half-days Fri. M-TH is a mix of early start (6:50 AM) & late start (9:20 AM) shifts, which include 40 mins of pre-patient prep time + team huddle in morning and 30 mins of wrap-up time of the end of the day.
Non-rushed appointments give you ample time to bond with and treat your patients.
No weekends or holidays
Experience / Skills / Proficiencies / Attitudes:
2+ years chairside experience in a fast-paced general dentistry practice preferred
Ability to perform all aspects of regular dental assisting
Team-centered approach & work-style is a must!
Knowledge of Eaglesoft a plus (but not required - training provided)
A genuine care for patients (even the difficult ones)
Focus on patient education that leads to completed treatment plans
No worries if American English is not your first language, but you must have exceptional English skills in order to best communicate with our patients and your team mates.
Spanish and/or Russian/Ukrainian a plus, but not required.
Compensation:
$22 - $27/hr.
