Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Rocklin Dental is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. Our practice is committed to providing top-quality dental care in a warm and welcoming environment, and we are looking for an RDA who shares our passion and values.

As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles. You will work closely with our dentist to provide exceptional care and assist in a variety of advanced dental procedures. Your commitment to patient comfort and satisfaction, as well as your technical expertise, will make you an essential part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist dentist in various dental procedures, including cosmetic and restorative treatments
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
Maintain accurate and organized records of all dental procedures
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Assist in scheduling and managing patient appointments
Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
Follow all infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and sterile environment
Requirements:
Current Registered Dental Assistant license
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental office
Proficiency in digital x-rays and dental software (Dentrix experience a plus)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish a rapport with patients and build positive relationships
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Current CPR certification
Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations
