Job Description
Centrally located in the Chinook Mall Professional Building, Chinook Smiles is an established and growing general dental office with a friendly, close-knit team and strong patient base. We are looking to welcome a responsible and hardworking Registered Dental Assistant to join our smile team and help with growing demand.
The ideal candidate should be motivated and committed, with dedication to excellent patient care. Proficiency in Cleardent and minimum one (1) year dental experience are strong assets. New grads are welcome to apply; we are happy to mentor and help you get started on your dental journey! Willingness to work two (2) evening shifts (until 7pm) per week and occasional Saturdays are a must.

The ideal candidate would possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of oral health issues and dental procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication with patients and team members
- Maintain professionalism at all times and strong attention to details
- Set up and clean up operatories, while adhering to strict IPC standards
- Take quality dental x-rays and photographs
- Assist hygienists with charting probing, polishing and fluoride application
- Schedule appointments and maintain proper patient records
- Efficient at performing accurate intra-oral scanning
- Knowledge with Cleardent a strong asset
- Willingness to learn and work with advanced dental technologies such as CEREC, 3D printing, and laser
Requirements:
- Valid registration in Alberta as dental assistant
