Job Description
Job Overview
Grimes Dental Group is seeking an experienced and hard-working Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. It is strongly recommended to have expanded functions. Responsibilities
- Ensure that dental equipment is cleaned and sterilized
- Take intraoral x-rays and photographs
- Put office supplies away and keep operatory stocked
- Help hygiene with new patient x-rays and probing when applicable
- Help front office with any down time
- Take thorough clinical notes during patient appointments
Qualifications
- Certification in Dental Assisting (expanded functions preferred)
- Proficiency in infection control protocols
- Knowledge of dental and medical terminology
- Familiarity with medical coding practices
- Experience with Open Dental software is a plus
- Understanding of medical imaging processes
- Strong adherence to HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be punctual and have great time management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $24.50 per hour
