About Our Practice
We are Kidz & Teen Dental, a growing pediatric dentistry and orthodontic practice with two locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area: Carrollton, TX and McKinney, TX. Our goal is to continue growing our brand and expand throughout DFW while maintaining a positive, team-oriented culture and providing exceptional care to every child and family who walks through our doors.

About the Position
We are hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). This position is replacing a valued long-term team member, so we are looking for someone dependable who wants to build a career with us.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
- Current Coronal Polishing Certificate (Required)
- Comfortable working with children
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced pediatric environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric dental experience strongly preferred
- Orthodontic experience a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures
- Perform coronal polishing in accordance with Texas regulations
- Take digital radiographs
- Prepare operatories before patient appointments
- Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
- Chart and document treatment accurately
- Educate parents on treatment and home care when appropriate
- Help children feel calm, safe, and comfortable during treatment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Work collaboratively and efficiently with the clinical team
- Support doctors and fellow team members throughout the day
- Follow established office systems and protocols
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
Work Schedule
- Monday through Thursday
- Friday is typically a half day, ending around 2:00 PM
- Two Saturdays per month, usually the middle two Saturdays (occasional variation possible depending on office needs)
Travel Between Offices
This position requires working at both of our office locations:
- Carrollton: approximately 3-4 days per week
- McKinney: approximately 1-2 days per week
Candidates must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling between both offices as needed.
