Overview
This is a great opportunity to join a clinic at the start of an exciting new rebrand!
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with a desire to care for patients and connect with the community. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where patient care and clinical excellence are prioritized. The RDA II will support the dental team by providing exceptional chairside assistance, patient education, and exceptional communication skills to ensure smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, orthodontic, and pediatric treatments
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
Manage patient records efficiently using practice management software
Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to safety standards
Assist with inventory management of dental supplies and materials
Skills
Proficiency with dental practice management & imaging software: CurveHero & Dexis
Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques and infection control procedures
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with your team and patients
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail & staying organized
Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II) is required

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Licence/Certification:
Registered Dental Assistant Level II licence in Alberta (required)
