Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II) – Full Time
Location: Calgary, AB
Work Setting: In-person (no remote work)

We are currently seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II) who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working as part of a dynamic team. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for dental examinations and assist the dentist during procedures and treatments
Sterilize, organize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Prepare dental materials, including fillings, impression materials, and compounds
Take and process dental X-rays in accordance with safety standards
Polish teeth and clinical crowns; apply fluoride and dental sealants
Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts and assist with treatment planning
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Administrative & Clerical Duties:
Schedule appointments and manage patient records
Prepare invoices and process payments
Record dental procedures performed
Order dental and office supplies
Intra-Oral Duties (as permitted):
Remove sutures and take vital signs
Apply topical anesthetics, desensitizing, and anti-cariogenic agents
Perform coronal whitening
Fabricate, place, and remove temporary crowns and restorations
Apply and remove rubber dams
Conduct pulp vitality testing, periodontal screening, and charting
Qualifications:
Certified Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II) with current provincial licensing
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Experience with dental software is an asset
