Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists during procedures and perform various patient care, office, and laboratory duties.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Record patient medical history and vital signs
- Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist
- Maintain dental equipment and ensure a clean environment
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
Experience:
- Prior experience with X-Ray systems
- Proficiency in patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Knowledge of dental receptionist duties
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices
- Experience with Eaglesoft software preferred
- Ability to work with pediatric patients
- Understanding of dental anatomy and terminology
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
