Job description:
We are seeking a RegisteredDental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant (DA) to join our high-tech, boutique general and cosmetic dental office. We are a small but mighty team where every member plays a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience.

The ideal candidate is motivated, responsible, punctual, professional, and ready to go above and beyond for our patients. You will work closely with all team members and have a “can-do” attitude to help wherever needed.

This is a hybrid back/front role; you’ll primarily assist chair-side but also support the front office as needed. Candidates must be certified to take X-rays and feel comfortable assisting clinically, as well as learning front office tasks. Training will be provided for all administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and set up operatories for dental treatment
Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control standards
Chairside assist for general and cosmetic dental procedures
Take digital dental X-rays
Perform intraoral and digital scanning (training provided)
Learn and assist with CEREC procedures
Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care
Accurately document patient information in the practice management software
Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Support the front office by greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling/re-scheduling appointments, and assisting with billing and insurance as needed
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
Current California RDA license or DA certification (must be X-ray certified)
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
Proficiency in infection control and sterilization protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills, including front office systems
