Job Description
Our private dental practice is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing private practice. We pride ourselves on providing compassionate, high-quality dental care in a welcoming environment where both patients and team members feel valued.
Schedule
Part-time
2 days per week (Mon. and Wednesday)
No evenings or weekends
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of general and cosmetic dental procedures using four-handed dentistry.
Prepare treatment rooms before and after each patient.
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
Take high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photos.
Perform coronal polishing, impressions, and other duties permitted under California RDA regulations.
Fabricate temporary crowns and whitening trays.
Set up and break down operatories.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions.
Maintain accurate clinical records and assist with charting.
Monitor inventory and restock dental supplies.
Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications
Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
Current X-Ray Certification.
Current CPR/BLS Certification.
1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply.
Experience with digital radiography and dental software (EagleSoft experience is a plus).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mentality.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
