The Holistic Dental Center of New Jersey is looking for an experienced, motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team. Responsibilities
Assist doctors during general, restorative, surgical, and specialty dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment
Take high-quality digital X-rays
Follow proper sterilization and infection-control protocols
Maintain organized and fully stocked operatories
Review patient charts and prepare for upcoming procedures
Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their appointments
Provide post-operative instructions as directed by the doctor
Assist with dental impressions, scans, models, and other RDA-permitted procedures
Document accurate clinical information in patient charts
Support efficient patient flow and keep the clinical schedule running smoothly
Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, front-office team members, and patients
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment
Qualifications
Current New Jersey Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential required
Dental assisting experience preferred
Experience with digital dentistry and dental software is a plus
Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Comfortable learning new technology, techniques, and protocols
Able to provide a warm, attentive experience for patients
