Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care while supporting the clinical operations of our dental practice.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized according to aseptic techniques.
Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans when applicable, while maintaining proper radiation safety protocols.
Manage patient records using Dentrix Ascend, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Perform vital signs assessments and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care, especially for pediatric patients.
Provide 4 handed chairside assistance and imaging
Maintain infection control standards by adhering to strict sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques across all clinical areas.
Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Requirements
Valid license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent certification recognized in the state or region.
Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures and CEREC mills is a must.
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, taking X-rays, and vital signs measurement.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix Ascend
Strong understanding of dental terminology
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and excellent patient care standards.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
