Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant with a minimum of 1-2 YEARS EXPERIENCE to join our team at Kidz Dental Haven Tue, Wed & Thur. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the comfort and care of our pediatric patients while assisting the dentist during procedures. Your contributions will help create a positive dental experience for children.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
Take and develop X-rays as needed for patient assessments.
Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices.
Manage patient records and documentation accurately using Dentrix software.
Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
Previous experience as a dental assistant or in a similar role preferred.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and dental procedures.
Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus.
Strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and documentation practices.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents.
