Registered Dental Assistant

This is a fee-for-service LOW-VOLUME referral-based concierge specialist dental practice. The office promotes comprehensive wellness through dentistry.

Requirements:
 The individual must be motivated, intelligent, warm, and friendly
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
 Proficient in chair-side dental assisting
 Manage clinical procedures such as, but not limited to, fabricating temporary crowns,
taking quality dental radiographs, making traditional alginate and PVS rubber based
impressions, taking digital intraoral scans, pouring stone models, polishing dentures and
temporaries using buffing wheel, and making vacuum form retainers.
 Proficient with basic computer operating skills and keyboarding skills - word processing software, spreadsheets, pdf software, cloud storage, google drive and email management
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 Perform basic clinical dental assisting duties and general office maintenance
 Maintain a sterile work environment, cleaning any tools, equipment, and surfaces thoroughly and frequently.
 Proficiency in chair-side dental assisting and clinical procedures
 Provide patients with advice on maintaining good dental health and hygiene.
 Update client dental records and provide the dentist with accurate information regarding
the dental history of the patient.
 Cross trained and perform basic receptionist job duties when necessary
Work schedule:
 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs)
 M.Tu.W -> 9 hour days + Thurs (half clinical day + half day for professional and referral development) – 32-36 hour week
Education and Previous Work Experience:
 Associate's degree
 Valid certification for dental assistant and dental x-ray certification
 Previous experience as a dental assistant highly preferred
 Previous experience in sales/customer service/retail highly preferred
Compensation is negotiable and based on prior experience and credential

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
