seeking a Dental Assistant to join our Team.
Office is open M-F -- NO WEEKENDS

Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and support the smooth operation of our dental practice. In this vital role, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and clinical confidentiality. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for patients of all ages, especially in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery settings. Duties
Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery, ensuring efficient workflow and patient comfort
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and maintaining aseptic techniques in accordance with infection prevention management policies
Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans while adhering to dental x-ray safety protocols and radiation safety standards
Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Patient management software to ensure accurate documentation of medical history, vital signs, and treatment details
Provide patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions about dental terminology, and assisting with patient management throughout visits
Follow clinical confidentiality policies strictly to protect patient privacy under HIPAA regulations
Support dental sterilization procedures and infection control practices to uphold the highest standards of healthcare infection prevention and control expertise
Skills
Proficiency with EMR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar patient management software for efficient record keeping
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical procedures in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry
Experience with dental instrument processing, sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques to ensure safety and infection control compliance
Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, dental handpieces, and other clinical tools effectively
Skilled in chairside assisting techniques such as four-handed dentistry for improved efficiency during procedures
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with patients of all ages while providing exceptional patient care
Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention protocols and medical documentation standards to maintain clinical confidentiality policies
