Registered Dental Hygienist 1 day per week ( preferably Tuesdays ) and 1 Friday/Saturday per month

```Duties```

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing, periodontal assessment and probing

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Conduct oral cancer screenings

- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories

- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean dental environment
```Requirements```

- Valid dental hygiene license

- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program

- Proficiency in using Abeldent

- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages

- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures

- Familiarity with medical terminology
