Job Summary
Join our well-established and collaborative dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and play an essential role in providing outstanding patient care and supporting oral health. Responsibilities
Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs.

Take digital imaging such as X-rays while adhering to OSHA infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.

Maintain accurate and detailed records, documenting patient interactions, treatments, and observations in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and managing medical records securely.

Requirements
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with MA regulations.

Valid licensure for Local Anesthesia in accordance with MA regulations preferred.

Recent BLS Certification
Recent OSHA & HIPAA Certification
Proven experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry environments preferred but not required.

Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft for documentation review and record keeping.

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques.

Ability to perform chairside assisting tasks efficiently while maintaining excellent patient care standards.

Familiarity with terminology, vital signs measurement, and radiograph techniques relevant to dental practice.

Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and collaborate with team members in a fast-paced setting.
