Registered Dental Hygienist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support our team in maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a modern clinic with a focus on comprehensive oral health care.

Responsibilities
Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to promote optimal oral health
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, providing support with dental instruments and materials
Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker or similar dental management software
Manage patient scheduling, answer questions, and ensure a positive patient experience
Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
Requirements
Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice
Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
Proficiency with Tracker or similar dental practice management software
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve our diverse patient base
Experience or background in dental assisting is beneficial but not mandatory
Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion
Pay: $48.00-$52.00 per hour
