About us
State of the art, fee-for-service Prosthodintic Practice located in the Three Village area seeks an effiecent, accomplished, caring individual to join our congenial and supportive staff as a Registered Dental Hygenist. If emploment in a respectful, upbeat, patient-centered dental office that offers equitable salary and benefits is what you are looking for, we look forward to meeting you. The Dental Hygeniest position is part time 15 hrs. Thursday and Friday 8:30 am - 4:00 pm. Appointment time is 1 hour per patient.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans within clinical and regulatory standards
- Must be able to update health history and chart in Dentrix chart in Dentrix
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Proficiency in using Dentrix software
- Knowledge of medical coding systems for dental procedures
