Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric and orthodontic patients.
Utilize Power Practice software for patient record management and appointment scheduling.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed, including dental assisting tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Qualifications
Valid British columbia license to practice as a registered Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in pediatrics or orthodontics considered a plus.
Proficiency in Power practice is highly desirable.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
