As a Registered Dental Hygienist at Godley Station Dental, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive dental care to our patients. Your main responsibilities will include:
Performing dental hygiene procedures, such as dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, and fluoride treatments.
Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition.
Taking digital dental x-rays and assisting the dentist in treatment planning.
Conducting oral cancer screenings and documenting patient medical histories.
Administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation as required.
Collaborating with the dental team to ensure efficient and smooth patient flow.
Utilizing the latest dental technologies, including intraoral cameras, digital charting systems, and laser treatments.
Maintaining strict infection control protocols and sterilization procedures.
Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring patient satisfaction throughout their visit.
Staying updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene and continuing education opportunities.
To be considered for the Registered Dental Hygienist position, you should meet the following requirements:
Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
Current state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in using dental software and digital imaging systems.
Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, oral anatomy, and oral health.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to educate and motivate patients.
Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate patient records.
A positive attitude, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
