Responsibilities:
Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the system.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Build strong relationships with patients to ensure a comfortable experience.
Stay current on dental hygiene best practices and continuing education.
Requirements:
Valid California dental hygiene license and CPR certification.
Experience in a dental office preferred, with strong clinical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
Passion for patient education and promoting oral health awareness.
