REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Theis Family Dental is a privately owned general dentistry practice that seeks to hire a talented full-time or part-time registered dental hygienist for our clinical team. Requirements:
Active Dental Hygiene License in the State of Minnesota
Familiar with digital x-rays and electronic patient management software, we use Open Dental
CPR certification preferred, but not required
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients, sustain patient comfort and provide appropriate education throughout treatment
Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history
Perform all hygiene clinical procedures to include radiographs, charting existing restorations/missing teeth, probing, prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, fluoride, administer local anesthetic when necessary, administer nitrous oxide when necessary, operate intraoral camera
Maintain a sterile and neat working environment
Maintain clinical supply inventory
Additional duties may involve: answering the phone, scheduling appointments, and accepting payments
Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines
Partner with the doctor and all other team members to implement and maximize office workflow
Office Working Hours:
Monday: 7:30 am to 4:45 pm
Tuesday: 7:30 am to 4:45 pm
Wednesday: 7:30 am to 4:45 pm
Thursday: 7:30 am to 4:45 pm
Friday: closed
Saturday: closed
Sunday: closed
Job type: Full-time (ideally) or Part-time (we are very flexible to what works for you)
