Registered Dental Hygienist — Full-Time or Part-TimeMountainside Family Dental | Mountainside, NJAdding Third Hygienist | Collaborative Private Practice | No Required Weekends
Mountainside Family Dental is looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing private practice. Due to continued growth, we are adding a third hygienist to our established hygiene team.
At our office, hygiene is a cornerstone of the practice. Our doctors work closely with our hygienists to support periodontal care, patient education, treatment planning, and long-term oral health. Hygienists can be as clinically involved as they feel comfortable being, whether that means focusing on excellent preventive care or taking a more active role in perio therapy, scanning, patient education, and collaborative treatment discussions.
Our hygienists are supported by the whole team. Our doctors are available for exams, questions, and treatment planning, while our front office helps manage insurance, eligibility, prophy dates, and SRP timing. When available, our dental assistants also help support hygiene flow, including room turnover, x-rays, and other clinical support.
We are a modern office newly constructed in 2023, with updated technology including digital imaging, scanning, CBCT, 3D printing, and air polishing. Appointment lengths are scheduled based on visit type and clinical need.

Schedule
Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Occasional Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
No required weekends. Optional Saturday hours, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, may be available for candidates interested in additional hours.
Requirements
Active New Jersey RDH license required
Local anesthesia certification required
Strong communication and patient education skills
