Job Description
What You’ll Do
The Dental Hygienist provides comprehensive preventive and therapeutic oral healthcare services under the supervision of a licensed dentist. This position focuses on patient assessment, delivery of dental hygiene treatments, oral health education, and strict adherence to clinical, legal, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment areas and ensure all instruments and materials are ready for procedures.
Perform dental cleanings and preventive services in accordance with accepted standards of care.
Take and process dental radiographs as indicated.
Deliver oral hygiene instruction and postoperative care guidance, address patient concerns.
Maintain sterilization of instruments and ensure proper storage of equipment.
Accurately document services provided while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean clinical environment.
Assist in maintaining dental equipment through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
Pay: $37.46 - $47.01 per hour
