Registered Dental Hygienist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and supporting our team in delivering a positive dental experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, professional environment with a focus on patient education and preventive care. Experience with ClearDent, and bilingual communication skills are highly valued.

Duties
Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing to maintain optimal oral health of patients
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and treatment options
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Assist with patient assessments and medical history updates using medical terminology
Support the dental team with procedures such as fluoride treatments and sealants
Maintain accurate patient records within Dentrix or similar dental software
Ensure a clean and sterile environment following infection control protocols
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns and scheduling follow-up appointments
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure smooth clinic operations
Experience
Previous experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
Knowledge of Dentrix or other dental practice management software is advantageous
Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is a plus
Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures and terminology
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $55.00-$68.00 per hour
