Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, promoting oral health, and supporting the overall operations of our dental team. Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans in collaboration with dentists
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental software such as Dentrix
Support orthodontic procedures when necessary, including patient education on appliance care
Provide compassionate care to pediatric patients and address their specific needs
Ensure a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment in compliance with OSHA standards
Handle patient inquiries professionally, delivering excellent customer service throughout their visit
Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Experience
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice
Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred, especially with pediatric patients or orthodontic procedures
Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix is highly desirable
Bilingual skills are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse patient populations
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health care
Experience in dental assisting or working closely with dental teams is beneficial but not required
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for patients

Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour
