Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team at Downtown Family Dental of Baraboo. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This position requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, a high rate of accuracy and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
Take and record vital signs as necessary during patient assessments.
Utilize Eaglesoft systems for patient management, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate patient records.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Support the dental team with general dentistry tasks
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the State of WI.
Current CPR certification
Proficient in using Eaglesoft systems or similar dental software.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Previous experience in general dentistry is a plus.
Ability to take x-rays accurately and efficiently.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
