Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing medical records to ensure safe and effective treatment planning.
Take medical imaging such as X-rays while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care to promote lifelong oral health.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, medical records, and treatment notes in electronic health record (EHR) systems (Dentrix).
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Skills
Proficiency with dental software systems such as Dentrix for scheduling, documentation review, and dental coding.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.
Experience in pediatric dentistry and pediatrics-specific patient care strategies.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health needs.

Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
Pay: $42.00 - $46.00 per hour
