We are seeking a skilled, adaptable, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to serve as a Float Hygienist across all Timber Dental locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values teamwork, and is confident working in different clinical settings while maintaining the highest standard of care. The Float Hygienist will support clinic needs by covering hygiene schedules, assisting with patient care continuity, and ensuring an excellent patient experience across all offices.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
Conduct periodontal charting and thorough patient assessments
Take and review digital radiographs (X-rays)
Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventative treatments
Identify and communicate areas of concern to the doctor
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
Create a comfortable and positive experience for patients
