Job Description
Registered Dental Hygienist – BluSky Dental - Holland Cross
Are you passionate about helping people achieve healthier smiles while building lasting relationships with your patients?
BluSky Dental is looking for a compassionate, motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. We're looking for someone who believes great hygiene care goes far beyond scaling teeth—it’s about educating, empowering, and caring for patients at every stage of life.
The Mission: Prevention First
At BluSky Dental, we believe the best dentistry is preventative dentistry. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you'll play one of the most important roles in our practice by helping patients maintain lifelong oral health while building trust that keeps them coming back year after year.
You'll have the time, technology, and support to focus on what matters most—providing exceptional care and creating positive experiences for every patient who sits in your chair.
Your Primary Responsibilities
Deliver Exceptional Hygiene Care: Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments, scaling and root planing, polishing, fluoride treatments, oral cancer screenings, and preventive services tailored to each patient's needs.
Patient Education: Help patients understand the connection between oral health and overall health while providing personalized home care recommendations.
Build Lasting Relationships: Create a welcoming, comfortable environment where patients feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for.
Collaborate with the Clinical Team: Work closely with our dentists, assistants, and coordinators to ensure seamless patient care and treatment planning.
Support Practice Growth: Identify treatment opportunities, educate patients on recommended care, and help patients take the next step toward achieving optimal oral health.
Maintain Clinical Excellence: Ensure accurate charting, digital records, infection prevention protocols, and adherence to all regulatory standards.
What You Need to Succeed
Registered Dental Hygienist licensed to practice in Ontario.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A gentle, patient-centered approach with the ability to help anxious patients feel at ease.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
A collaborative mindset—you enjoy working as part of a supportive team.
Experience with digital charting and dental software is considered an asset.
Why Choose BluSky Dental?
Not Corporate: We're a locally owned practice that believes in putting people before numbers.
Modern Technology: Work with digital imaging, CBCT, iTero scanners, same-day CAD/CAM technology, and a fully integrated digital workflow.
Supportive Team Culture: We genuinely enjoy working together. Collaboration, respect, and helping one another are part of our everyday culture.
Opportunities to Grow: Whether you're an experienced hygienist or newer to the profession, we encourage continuing education and professional development.
Competitive Compensation: Open to negotiation based on experience.
How to Apply
If you're looking for a practice where your skills are valued, your patients become family, and your work truly makes a difference, we'd love to meet you.
Please send your resume to amanda@blusky.dental and tell us why you'd be a great fit for the BluSky Dental team.
Pay: From $50.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
