Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and support the overall efficiency of our dental team. Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth to remove plaque, tartar, and stains
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
Assist with patient examinations and record keeping using Dentrix or similar dental management software
Support the dental team during procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure infection control standards are met
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns professionally
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up care instructions
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software preferred
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Bilingual skills are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations
Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude toward patients
Ability to work well within a team environment and handle multiple priorities efficiently
Pay: $53.00-$55.00 per hour
