Registered Dental Hygienist

**Job Description:**
As a Dental Hygienist at Smile Culture Dental, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dental care to our patients. You will work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide preventive and therapeutic oral care, educate patients on oral health, and ensure a comfortable and positive experience for everyone who visits our clinic.

**Responsibilities:**
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth     
Conduct oral health assessments and record patient history    
Take and develop dental X-rays     
Apply preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides)     
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care    
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures     
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment      
Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts      
Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff   
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene and participate in continuing education opportunities.

**Qualifications:**      
Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist      
Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program      
Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail      
Strong communication and interpersonal skills      
Ability to educate and motivate patients on oral health practices      
Proficiency in taking dental X-rays      
Knowledge of dental software Denticon and patient management systems      
CPR certification (preferred)      
A commitment to providing high-quality care and a positive patient experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
