Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional oral healthcare! Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup, ensuring optimal oral health for each patient.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, taking vital signs, and evaluating oral conditions to develop personalized treatment plans.
Take dental radiographs (digital X-rays), ensuring high-quality images while adhering to safety protocols and infection prevention standards.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing techniques, and dietary advice to promote lifelong dental health.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems like SOFTDENT), maintaining accurate documentation of patient care, medical records, and treatment notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Follow strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
Proven experience in dental hygiene, preferably within general dentistry setting.
Proficiency with dental software such as SOFTDENT for charting, scheduling, and documentation management.
Skilled in patient care, client communication, and providing clear instructions for dental care education.
Knowledge of infection prevention management, healthcare infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
