Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled, reliable Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and oral hygiene services to our clients, promoting their overall dental health.

Office Hours 8:00 am - 5pm Monday-Thursday

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, and polishing teeth.

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care

- Take digital dental x-rays

- Maintain accurate patient records

- Administer fluoride treatment

- Assess Clients' oral health and report findings to the dentist

- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment, Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment

- Stay current with dental hygiene protocols and advancements.

- Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure optimal client care.

**Qualifications:**

- Diploma in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

- Registered with the CDHO and in good standing

- Proficiency in Dentrix software is a plus

- Strong customer service skills

- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues

- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of client care

- Current CPR and First Aid, and Public Health IPAC
