Job Description
About us:
We are seeking a friendly, dependable and patient focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on Mondays, Saturdays and potentially one more shift.
West 41st Dentistry at Yew is located in Kerrisdale, surrounded by great shops, cafes, and restaurants in a charming walkable neighbourhood. We are an established practice with over 60 years of history, serving a loyal and welcoming community.
We are proud to care for a friendly, well established patient base that truly values quality dentistry. Our team is committed to delivering comprehensive, high quality care in a warm and professional environment.
Available shifts:
Mondays 8:30am - 4:30pm
Saturdays 8am - 2:30pm
+ potentially one additional day.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including root planning , scaling, polishing and fluoride
- Take digital radiographs
- Take intraoral photos
- Conduct periodontal charting
- Capture iTero scans
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Assist in diagnosing and treatment planning alongside the dentist
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Follow industry standards and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Dental Hygiene license
- Experience with Tracker dental software preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- New Graduates welcome!
