Job Description
We are seeking a temporary Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team to provide maternity leave coverage at our patient-centered dental office in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.
Our office is modern, up-to-date, and highly focused on providing excellent customer service and quality patient care. We value teamwork, professionalism, and creating positive experiences for both patients and our team.
Position Details:
Temporary maternity leave coverage (November 2026 – mid-February 2027)
Potential opportunities for additional coverage prior to the regularly scheduled leave coverage and ongoing future coverage
On-the-job training provided to help ensure a smooth transition and acclimation to our office
Supportive and collaborative team environment
Preferred coverage for the following days and times though open to alternatives if candidate is the right fit and has different availability:
- Two to three Mondays per month (~7:30am - ~5:15pm)
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays (~7:30am - ~5:15pm)
- Thursdays (~6:45am - ~3:15pm)
- Most Fridays (~6:45am - ~12:15pm)
Requirements:
Active Pennsylvania dental hygiene license in good standing (local anesthesia license preferred though not mandatory)
CPR certification (current)
Proof of initial and current completion of Act 31 training (Child Abuse Awareness, Recognition and Report Requirements training for dental professionals)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient care and teamwork
Minimum of one year of prior work experience
Proficient performance of dental hygiene duties
