Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment. This role offers an opportunity to work with a friendly team committed to promoting oral health and patient education.
Duties
Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix dental software
Ensure the sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments and equipment
Uphold infection control protocols in compliance with IPAC standards
Skills
Proficiency in Dentrix or other dental practice management software
Prior experience in dental hygiene is advantageous but not mandatory
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Compassionate approach to patient care

Pay: $42.00-$45.00 per hour
