Job Description
Fort McMurray
We are seeking a full time dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing exceptional patient care, maintaining dental health, and supporting the overall operations of the dental team. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, patient-focused environment where your skills in dental hygiene and customer service are highly valued.
Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Conduct oral health assessments and educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Assist with patient examinations and prepare treatment rooms for procedures
Provide support during various dental procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric care
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or other dental management software
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment
Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
