Job Description
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST IN PRIVATE/FAMILY PRACTICE: We are seeking a patient-centered Registered Dental Hygienist to join our established private dental practice in Mebane, NC. This role is designed for a hygienist who values quality care, clinical autonomy, and a respectful pace—not rushed schedules or corporate pressure.

You will work one column, one patient at a time, with the time and support needed to deliver thorough care, educate patients properly, and practice hygiene the way it should be practiced.

This is a long-term position in a stable practice with consistent systems, clear expectations, and a team that supports one another.

Primary Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including periodontal assessments and documentation
Educate patients on oral health, prevention, and long-term treatment planning
Perform accurate charting and documentation in Dentrix
Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and infection control standards
Collaborate with doctors and team members to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care
Maintain a calm, organized workflow without double-booking or rushing
Clinical Environment
One hygienist per column — no double booking
Comfortable, realistic appointment times
Full support for proper periodontal diagnosis and patient education
Respect for hygienist clinical judgment
Schedule
Full-time position
Option to work 4 or 5 days per week

Qualifications
Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
CPR certification
Strong understanding of periodontal care and preventive dentistry
Comfortable with patient education and documentation
Experience with Dentrix and/or Eaglesoft preferred
