Registered Dental Hygienist

We are looking for a passionate Dental Hygienist to join our team at Silver Beach Dental - we are a long established family practice with an upbeat and collaborative staff providing patient driven care. We are looking for someone full-time or part-time (1-4 days per week). We are open to a flexible schedule to fit a busy lifestyle. We provide an hour for cleanings, help from assistants when needed, and a great office culture. You will be well supported an appreciated!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing preventive dental care services, such as cleaning teeth and instructing patients on oral hygiene. They will also be expected to take x-rays, as well as perform other duties such as charting conditions of decay and disease. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient care.

We provide competitive pay (60-70 DOE), PTO, paid holidays, monthly medical stipend, and free in-office dental care.

Responsibilities:
Provide preventive dental care, including removal of plaque and calculus from teeth, and instructing patients on oral hygiene.

Assess patients' oral health and provide treatment plans.

Perform diagnostic tests, such as x-rays.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, such as brushing and flossing.

Apply fluoride treatments to teeth.

Document patient information in electronic records.
